BACKGROUND:
Over 17 years of experience in association management, fundraising, event planning, and project management, in the corporate and non-profit sectors. - Developed procedures and streamlined processes to utilize The Raiser's Edge for local non-profits. Areas included campaigns, funds, and appeals structures, corporate data, biographical information, matching gifts, and basic data management.
- Performed prospect research for various non-profits.
- Developed a Microsoft Access database to track pledges and gifts of a $300,000 endowment campaign.
- Managed a staff of four data entry persons in gift recording at the University of Richmond whom entered 85,000 changes per year, including 20,000 gifts totaling $16 million dollars.
- Served as the user side project leader for a software conversion from BSR Advance to SCT Banner. Developed and managed a project plan to meet deadlines.
- Managed accounts that raised a total of almost three million dollars including 250,000 new dollars for the 1996 United Way fundraising campaign.
- Developed acknowledgement, receipt, donor listing and matching gift procedures for fundraising offices.
- Produced various special events, including fundraising dinners, award programs, corporate conferences, and a weeklong residency program for MBA students.
