Lee Switz
Lee has devoted her energies to the non-profit community since 1964, working in a variety of capacities with a number of different government, church and community service organizations. For the last 20 years she has focused on resource development, and since 1992 she has served as fund raising counsel to over 20 different Richmond-area non-profits. Her specialties include planning, initiating and managing development programs; board and staff training; and helping organizations realize their potential. Susie Burtch
Susie is a copywriter with 30 years experience in advertising and public relations. While she writes for a wide range of corporate, financial, medical and educational clients, she especially enjoys working in the nonprofit sector. She specializes in copy for case statements, websites, brochures and direct mail campaigns, though her expertise also includes concepting, organizing and interviewing. Susie teaches classes in writing for the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the author of three books and winner of numerous print and broadcast awards. A graduate of Smith College, she has worked for several ad agencies and The New Yorker magazine. View résumé. Gwen Corley Creighton
For the last 30 years, Gwen's professional experience has been in the training and organizational development arenas. She has an M.Ed. in Organizational Development and Training from VCU and has worked with organizations in incorporating technology into daily operations and in leading and facilitating interdepartmental project planning efforts. Corporate and governmental clients have included Owens&Minor, Inc., Sprint Services, City of Richmond, and the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority. With nonprofits, Gwen focuses her services in Board Development, Strategic Planning, Program Evaluation and Database development. Clients have included the Richmond Boys' Choir, the Richmond Weed & Seed Program and the House of Life Drug Rehabilitation Program and Youth Matters.

John Melleky
John has been involved in computers and project management in the public and non-profit sectors since 1985. After working in the technical realm of programming and analysis for 10 years, he began a career as a fundraiser by working for United Way Services. He coordinated contributing campaigns and pledge processing for four large corporations. John then moved to the University of Richmond Development Office and served as the Director of Operations (Advancement Services). This latter position allowed him to craft skills in utilizing technology to meet fundraising goals, analyze and implement procedures for all aspects of fundraising, and serve as a project leader for a software conversion. John focuses his services on fundraising management services including infrastructure support, database services, annual fund and capital campaigns, prospect research, and board and volunteer development. He also provides event and association management services. John has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.View résumé. Julie Plunkett
Julie has been in the special events industry for twenty years, coordinating such events as the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament, the Memorial Golf Tournament, and the inaugurations of three U.S. Presidents. Now focusing on her hometown of Richmond, she has become known known for her ability to create high visibility for her clients within specific niches of the community. A strong ingredient of Plunkett's Marketing Plans is creating partnerships between businesses and the nonprofit sector. Signature Special Events that have Plunkett's mark are the Massey Cancer Center Woman and Wellness Luncheon, the Fabergé Ball of the Virginia Museum, and the Grand Reopening of the Science Museum of Virginia.

Susan Urofsky
Susan helps organizations to manage change, improve programs, and position themselves to achieve results now and in the future. She brings considerable experience in the public and nonprofit sectors to every project, yet tailors methods and advice to your unique needs. Susan’s expertise includes strategic planning, executive coaching, program design and evaluation. Over twenty years, Susan served in Virginia State Government as an agency head, cabinet level troubleshooter, and legislative program evaluator. Since founding Strategic Services in 1994, she has worked with a range of nonprofit agencies including William Byrd Community House, United Way, Prevent Child Abuse, Virginia, and the Legal Services Corporation of Virginia.
